About Us imageAbout Us image
Welcome to my website! I'm Lisa Assetta, the Founder and CEO of Office Assistance Plus, Tampa’s Premier office organizing consultant, work from home office expert, and the creator of the system for CANcer Life Organizing™.

How I got here: before I started my business, I was a career executive administrative professional for C-Suite executives, including CEOs. My life-long passion for peace and desire to support, mentor, and inspire others led me to launch a blog during the COVID-19 pandemic with the mission to share my administrative and organizing expertise to help professionals adapt and thrive at working from home. From there, I added on virtual organizing consulting and sessions to help declutter, organize, and set up business and home offices and created customized personal organizing systems to give people greater productivity and peace. Now I offer on-site organizing consulting and sessions to help organize your physical work, living, self-care, and rest spaces too.

My special mission: as a three-time cancer survivor, I'm dedicated to giving back and using my business for good. I created a proprietary system for CANcer Life Organizing™ to empower cancer patients and survivors to organize life during cancer treatment and beyond. The key component of my system is the Organize My CANcer Life Binder™ for cancer patients and their caregivers to use to organize information and paperwork. My goal is to help you keep moving forward despite overwhelm and side effects from treatment. If I CAN do it, you CAN too!

My accomplishments: I'm a professional speaker, published writer, and cancer awareness and survivor advocate. I spoke at the Administrative Professionals Conference and I'm an article contributor for the American Society of Administrative Professionals (ASAP) website. My story has been published in the book Living Beyond “What If?” and I am featured in VoyageTampa as a local hidden gem. I was honored as the 2022 Local Business Person of the Year in Carrollwood, Tampa, Florida by Alignable, the largest online referral network for small businesses. I'm a proud board member for the Maple Tree Cancer Alliance Tampa Regional Advisory Board, a non-profit that helps cancer patients improve their quality of life through exercise.

Thank you for visiting my website. Schedule a FREE virtual consultation with me today, I can't wait to meet you! I'm standing by ready to help you get organized, get productive, and get peace!

The 2 hours I spent with Lisa were eye opening! During our session, she shared several organizing and productivity tips with me to implement in my business. Lisa definitely knows her stuff and is passionate about what she does. I recommend you schedule a session with her to help you clarify your thoughts, reduce your clutter and get more productive. Thanks Lisa 😀

Stacy Soliman:Home Office of Co-Founder Omar Soliman, College H.U.N.K.S. Hauling Junk, Tampa FL

“Lisa came into our home over a period of two weeks and helped us streamline a mail/package intake process, set up a filing system for professional and personal documents, organize a command center for charging cell phones and keeping important school and home papers handy and available. One key piece of the organization was personalizing and creating a “cubby” for each person in our family that holds daily items – for the kids it has their lunchboxes, backpacks, masks, etc. For the adults, it has a place to hang bags, trays for keys, wallets, etc. It makes getting out the door each day with everything we need much easier. Lisa was professional and took the time to do an in-depth assessment with me to learn my vision as well as my style. I would highly recommend her for any home office/home organization project.”

I won a 1-on-1 session with Lisa at a Virtual Assistants conference. Our session gave me a ton of takeaways that I'm in the process of implementing. (I promised Lisa I would send pictures. :-) ).
